Meet the Wonder Women of DSM!

Meet Dr. Stacy Ochoa!

Dr. Ochoa started her journey in Dental Sleep Medicine 16 years ago when her Dad was found to be CPAP intolerant, taking on the journey to save her dad’s life. During this journey she obtained Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM). During this time she also realized that all 5 children in her own home had a form of Sleep Disordered Breathing. Beyond a TNA and CPAP there seemed to be no options. She knew there HAD to be something else! She wanted answers! She was a mother on a mission, and nothing was going to stop her!

Today, she is one of the key pediatric airway speakers at the annual North American Dental Sleep Medicine Symposium. She juggles the roles of Mom, Dentist, Business Owner, and Pediatric Airway Warrior.

Dr. Stacey Layman graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and has been treating patients for sleep disordered breathing since 2009. Dr. Layman is no longer practicing general dentistry and is solely dedicated her patients and practice to the treatment of Sleep Apnea at GoTo Sleep Center. Her key team members of 17 years are also along side to ensure the best possible patient care and service. She is Double Board Certified in Dental Sleep Medicine in as a Diplomate of American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
